Not bad. Really good in fact. I'm amazed that 7 films into this series the quality has stayed so high. Normally you'd have your
Superman IV or
Batman & Robin by now. While I'm not a huge fan of Yates' work on
The Order of the Phoenix, his take on
The Half Blood Prince made up for the previous film's dodgy editing by focusing on characters over fast pacing. (In an attempt to class up the joint I decided to start using $100.00 words like dodgy. It means "shitty" in European. Look it up.)
Deathly Hallows does an excellent job in the character department and also slows down fairly often to let the camera tell the story. Yay for long takes!
Spoilerbomb! Dobby dies at the end, if that doesn't get your ass in a seat I don't know what will. I'm very much looking forward to Part 7 Part 2 the sequel ...eh ....sequel, where Dumbledore wakes up and it was all a dream. Enjoy!!
