Daniel Johnston is one of those people who are both inspiring and heartbreaking at the same time. I was lucky enough to pick up some original drawings of his about 10 years ago at a local comic shop, I treasure them in the same way you'd think about a Picassso or a Warhol or something like that.I'm pretty sure the background riff in the first one is Story of an Artist, which I've always loved. I'm totally getting this.
